We've made it reasonably simple to manage your Radioplayer account - there are a few things which still need to be done manually however so read on and find out how we can help one another

New billing system

From 1st April 2021, all stations will be billed at the start of each financial year.

Existing stations, for the 2020/2021 financial year, where their billing date does not align with 1st April, will receive a pro-rated invoice from their 2020 normal bill date to 31st March 2021.

New stations joining pay a pro-rated sum from the first of the month after they join to 31st March 2021.

Changing your Station Control Panel password when you know your current one

We've added a feature that lets you change your password to something more memorable. Simply login with your existing details, then click the key icon in the top right. This will take you to a page where you can specify a new password. We've got some simple password rules to keep your account safe.

Resetting your Station Control Panel password if you don't know it

To protect the security of your account, we don't allow self-service password resets just yet. Instead, use the links on the right to open a support case with your username and station and we'll reset the password for you. Just so you know, we can only accept requests from named station contacts whom we have on file, or a station director.

Keeping your details up-to-date

We require all stations to ensure we have up-to-date contact details. As a minimum, we ask for a name, email address and phone number for a day-to-day contact whom we'll get in touch with, if we discover problems - and a billing contact who'll receive invoices and other accounting related information. If you believe this to have changed, or you're not sure we've got the right people on file in the first place (it happens!) then open a support ticket and we'll update our records accordingly.

Paying an invoice

When your Radioplayer annual fees are due for renewal, we will send an invoice to the named billing contact we have on file. We accept remittance by BACS/Faster Payments which is usually best, or by Annual Direct Debit or PayPal. We no longer accept cheques. There's a fee for PayPal but no additional charges for the other ways to pay. If you're paying by BACS remember to include the invoice number (eg. SIN001) in your payment reference and by cheque, write your invoice number on the reverse. Remember that invoices are due within 30 days of the date shown.

Getting help

Once you're on Radioplayer, our aim is that you can just 'set-and-forget' but we're here if you need help. We provide free technical support to all stations during office hours as part of your membership, on a fair-use basis. We're here weekdays 0900-1730 except Fridays til 1600. If you need out-of-hours support or a lot of extra help (more than 40 cases a year) then we have premium support tiers available on either a per-incident or subscription basis.
